I did one of my favorite things over the weekend – I went on a shoe shopping spree! SQUEE!! The sales were amazing so I bought *gulp* four pairs: A navy wedge peep-toe, a brown cut out high heeled slide, two-tone purply patent-leather pump with flower detail (adorable!) and a cute leopard print pump. Whew, my heart quickens just thinking of my new lovelies.
The shopping spree had me thinking – exactly what do your shoes say about you? Well, I did a little research and here’s what I came up with:
- Wearing flip-flops indicates that you are laid back and somewhat lazy. You don’t care much about what people think of you.
- High heels say that you see yourself as sophisticated and sexy. Pump color is important too. Red heels mean you are sexy and sophisticated with a little bit of wildness in you. Black pumps say you are more conservative in public but can be tempted to walk on the wild side.
- Loafers tend to give an impression that you are always in business mode and rarely let your hair down to have a good time.
- High heel boots portray you as extremely outgoing and carefree. They also say you are in touch with you sexual side and you are very confident in it. Mid length heeled boots reveal that you see yourself as sexy but you don’t want to be judged by your sexuality. You have a reputation you like to protect, after all.
- Sandals say that you like love the feel of the warm sun anytime of the year and that you are a beach girl. If you love sandals with a heel you’re a bit of a flirt and you see yourself as attractive. You love to pamper yourself because you just cannot get away with sandals without a proper pedi.Did I discover what my new acquisitions say about me? I’m not sure but AB (husb) sure has his opinion on the leopard print number (did I mention there are straps involved?).

I have three, no four, favorite pairs of shoes. All-time fave are my navy blue Chucks. Second fave are my knee-high black leather lace-up boots with three inch heels. Next are my flipflops (can’t do summer without them). Finally my purple heels. Bright purple heels.
I guess that means I’m a carefree, sexy, outgoing, lazy woman who doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her.
Sounds like we have the same taste in shoes, Shea. Oh, how I would LOVE to see the bright purple pumps!

Like Shea, I have a multiple personality disorder! What shoes I wear depends on my mood and where I’m going. I LOVE shoes! I live in comfy sandals around the house, boots, loafers or dress shoes at work and, running shoes when I’m with my dogs. Where I live I tend to the comfort side, we don’t have a lot of places to go to wear all the pretty dressing shoes in my closet. Darn it! LOL!!!
Hey Susan! It’s unanimous – we girls like lots of different styles. I just love heels. They add that extra umph-factor to any outfit.
