I took last week off to entertain the gaggle of holiday guests hanging around my house. I’m glad to be back with six sentences from The Satin Rose Experience. Two weeks ago I described this a an extra-curricular project I was working on. Today I’m thrilled to report that my short story will be included in Evernight Publishing‘s next anthology, Keyboards and Kink! Squee! This is the last snippet I will share on this until we’re closer to the anthology’s June release date.
He doubted she would be an easy conquest but she was one worth waiting for.
Every morning Asher counted on two things, Mia’s sexy pair of stilettos and the allure of her neatly tied low bun at the nape of her delicate neck. The way her long sexy skirts and silky blouses hugged her curves sent him to run off his pent up frustration at the gym after work. There was just something about her that kept him up at night. When he did sleep, he woke in a cold sweat dreaming about unpinning her long dark hair from its perfect bun, letting it flow down her back before wrapping it around his hand and pulling straight down so that her chin lifted upward. Asher sat straight up in his bed and wondered how a plain vanilla woman had control over his dreams with saying barely a dozen words.

(FYI, I’m not sure “without” is correct in that last sentence. I got stuck on it and kept trying to figure out if it conflicts with “barely”.)
