Happy Sunday and welcome to the last Six Sentence Sunday of April! I’m looking forward to turning the page in my calendar because my new novella, SARA’S SMILE, releases on May 18th.
Here’s another snippet from SARA’S SMILE. In this scene, Michael, the builder on Sara’s first large scale renovation as head architect, invites her for a drink to toast the project. He asks Sara why she has been avoiding him throughout the initial planning phases of the project. She offers him a flimsy excuse, then…
“Nothing else?” he asked suspiciously and took another swig from his beer.
She surveyed him as she took a long, slow sip of her Cosmo. The inhibiting effects of the vodka on an empty stomach worked in overdrive. Her eyes lingered on his strong, calloused hands, then lazily traveled up to his lips where they covered the mouth of the glass bottle. She realized she had probably stared a little too long when his mouth upturned into a smile.
“Nope, not a thing,” she said as she placed her half-empty glass on the table and slid it firmly to the side.
Hmm, and just where does Will fit in with all of this? Tune in next week to find out!

Where do we submit an entry for your 6 Sentence Sunday? Or don’t we?
If we do, here’s mine:
What on earth did I do for sexual stimulation before I bought this wonderful contraption? If I’d known how much fun it was going to be for me I would have bought it years ago, certainly while I was still married to that waster, Daniel. He never really managed to recreate the excitement of our first few months together; it went downhill from the wedding really. Anyway, this is an absolute godsend, it hums, it vibrates, it flashes, it even plays fucking tunes. I’ve used it almost every day since I bought it and I will continue to do so for as long as my pussy will stand the constant orgasms it gives me. What a wonderful thing a mobile phone full of porn is!

Robin, that’s a riot! It reminds me of that hilariously funny movie “The ‘O’ in Ohio!” Great six, and hope to see you next week.
Sensual six. She knows – and he knows – she’s not telling the truth!
I like her attitude and how you develop her through the scene. Great work.
Nice six, now I need more info.
Good job!
The tension between them is just sizzlin’. Great six!
Ha! Yep, I think she stared too long! Great six as always, Sandra!
Amy Durham
I think she gave herself away complete that time. Great six Sandra!
Oh, I love this! Can’t wait to find out where her long-lost love fits into the scheme of things. Great six!
Hmm dying to know what happens next. Need. More.
Oh, good grief! Nice tension–I want whatever she’s drinking!
I’m rooting for Will. Enough said.
Um, yes, I think I know why and I think he does too. But will they remedy that? Hmm. Love those awareness moments.
Sexy mouth. *nods*
Wow, very, very sexy!
Steamy six
Scenes with mouth-staring get me every time! Great six.
Great sex. Very sexy and well thought out.
Oh, poor Sara
man I cant wait to read this one! I’m hooked!!
Forget Sara’s smile, am loving his
Great moment you captured here, I could totally feel it!
If there are calloused handsome hands — You betcha I’m gonna be staring hard and long like your character! This is fantastic!
He caught her! LOL! Her response to his smile is great. Love your six!
This was wonderful. Just the right amount of detail and time spent staring. (Usually, I start to feel a little icky when the gawking goes on too long. Like I’m some creepy voyeur — not the good, sexy fictional kind, ya know?)
I’m a sucker for builder type heroes. He sounds completely swoon worthy here!
Sensual six, Sandra. I loved his humor conveyed in so few lines. Nicely done.
