Hi there, Fluffy Pink Handcuffs Release Party People!

It’s Day 2 of the party…you’re not tired are you? Jake’s stocking cold Red Bulls so grab one and let’s continue! You’ve met the cast of SRE characters. Today I’ll share some background and give you a little peek into future SRE stories!

I was recently asked about the inspiration of The Satin Rose Experience. SRE’s concept came from a couple of different places.

It all started with my love for posh day spas. I try to treat myself to a “spa day” every now and then. There’s something about the feeling of walking into a special oasis. Time just STOPS and stress melts away. I wanted to duplicate that feeling in a story.

I had that same feeling when entering the W Hotel in NYC. Not only did I get the “suspended in time, left the world behind” feeling, but there was also a sexy energy about the place. I knew it would be a great setting for a love story.

Now, here’s where the BDSM part comes in. My husband, AB, and I have a friend who frequents BDSM clubs and he asked us to join him one night. I considered it (for research, of course!) until I checked it out on the internet. Okay, EWWW. No. Way.

That’s when it hit me!

Create an ultra posh and safe environment where fantasies come true. A place women feel comfortable satisfying their curiosity. A safe place couples can test their limits. That place is SRE.

So, what’s next for The Satin Rose Experience series?

Here’s a couple tasty appetizers…

For those of you who’ve read MIA’S SUBMISSION, you’ll remember the mention of Mia’s first client, Toni Azzari. Toni’s the daughter of an infamous, and recently imprisoned gangster, Tony “The Chief” Azzari.
No longer under daddy’s watchful eye, Toni needs to experience a few things before she’s married off through an arrangement she wants no part of. Who does she call? SRE, of course!

Then we have Dr. Brooke Allaire, a young surgeon who finally drops her deadbeat long-time boyfriend. Brooke’s friend gives her a weekend guest pass to SRE as a Christmas gift. Brooke thinks she’s there for spa treatments but soon discovers the true nature of SRE. Does Brooke hightail it out of SRE and check herself into the Waldorf for a real spa weekend? Or does a sexy Dom (or two *wink*) convince her to stay?

Other stories involve a May/December couple that met online and a taboo office romance. You’ll find these stories and more coming up in future SRE books!
