So, what’s a guilty indulgence? Let’s start with the definition of indulge:

Definition: to take unrestrained pleasure in : gratify

Unrestrained pleasure, huh? Well, now we’re talking! So, what’s your guilty indulgence? I’ll start you off with a few…overpriced coffee drinks, clothes, shoes, hair product and mani-pedis are some of mine.

I know, I know – we’re talking unrestrained pleasure and I list coffee and conditioner? Surely indulgence gets better than that?

Oh yes, dear hopper, it does!

Meet Asher Cane and his guilty indulgence Mia Lavender from my new series, The Satin Rose Experience (SRE).

Asher and Mia’s story began in Evernight Publisher’s KEYBOARDS AND KINK Anthology.

Asher Cane, head of Rosebud Resorts exclusive new specialty division, has an opening he needs to fill. Shy, yet curious Mia Lavender is the perfect candidate. Asher uses his Twitter alias to breakdown Mia’s fears and convinces her to submit and feed her curiosity for his lifestyle.

Mia emerged from the bath warmed to her core. The exotic oil mixed with the scent of roses that filled the suite created a heady potion. She was lightheaded from the lovely scent and dancing candle flames. Every inch of her skin buzzed from the sensual scrubbing Asher gave her just moments before. He wrapped her in a fluffy towel and painstakingly combed her hair until it lay like a silky blanket on her back. Asher exchanged the towel for the crimson robe she had seen earlier that day folded neatly on the bed. The weightless fabric cooled her heated skin. Asher cinched the sash around her waist as her nipples hardened from the cool silk against her skin and the anticipation of what was yet to come.

Asher guided her out of the bathroom. Cupping her face in his palms, Mia could barely breathe as she awaited his kiss, their first kiss. She closed her eyes to intensify the sensation of his lips brushing hers. It was a surprisingly soft and tender kiss. She moaned through parted lips as his warm and inviting tongue invaded her mouth. His fingers combed through her hair first lightly and then with more pressure. He tugged her head back as he gathered her hair together into a ponytail. He pulled back from the kiss but he still had a hold of her hair. She felt him coil her long hair around his palm. Darkened eyes bore into hers as he increased the tension on the ponytail he formed in his hand. Her chin was forced toward the ceiling and she looked away but didn’t say a word.

“Mia, I want you to look at me, always. Your eyes are so expressive, and it’s the only way I’m going to know how far I can take you.”

Asher and Mia are back in MIA’S SUBMISSION, Book One of The Satin Rose Experience series. Hardworking Mia Lavender’s been offered a promotion she can’t refuse–VP of Client Experience at New York’s exclusive BDSM club, The Satin Rose Experience, or SRE. “From the minute I stepped through the door and saw you shivering in the corner I wanted to take you into my arms and kiss you, comfort you.”

“Why didn’t you?” she whispered back, narrowing her eyes.

“Don’t you get it? If you want this, you need to know what it’s like, you need to be trained and if I’m not capable of doing it, I’ll be forced to give you to another Dom. I won’t…” He placed his forehead to hers. “…I can’t. If I kissed you then, I would’ve lost all control.”

Mia melted into his firm body and wrapped her arms around his neck. Her lips lingered over his so that they were almost touching.

“Mia…” he whispered as his hands cupped her face.

He brushed his parted lips over hers, moaning into her mouth. She pulled him closer and his mouth crushed hers as his tongue searched for its mate. She met him and they tangled for dominance. Pulling the towel from her body, he kneaded her heaving breast in his powerful hand.

Mia nimbly loosened and pulled off his tie before making quick work of his shirt. Her palms burned from the touch of his skin as she reached under the garments. Tracing the muscular lines of his shoulders and arms, she pushed his shirt and jacket off and watched as they dropped in a heap on the floor. He kicked out of his shoes and socks while she helped him shrug out of his pants and boxers. The dark stubble of his cheeks burned against her skin while his mouth and tongue ravished her neck. She sighed as his kisses traveled higher and he nibbled at her earlobe.

“Fuck, Mia. I know you liked it. Damn it, I know you did. What do you want from me? Tell me,” he growled into her ear.

She answered him through shallow breaths. “I want you, all of you. Don’t hold back on me.”

He stopped and looked down as if in deep thought. His fingers absentmindedly moved up and down her arms. He inhaled deeply and blew out his captured breath.

“You don’t know what you’re asking, Mia. I have a dark side that goes beyond light spanking and restraints. Are you ready to go there with me?”

“I will if you show me everything, Asher. All of you. I left myself open for you and I expect the same if this is going to work.”

He held her cheek in his palm and rubbed his thumb over her bottom lip.

“I don’t want to lose you, Mia. Whether you want the position or not, I want you.”
