Welcome to another Six Sentence Sunday!
I’m busy with edits on Brooke’s Wish, book two of The Satin Rose Experience series. This holiday themed SRE will be released by Evernight Publishing in November. I’ll run snippets from Brooke’s Wish for the next few weeks.
Here are six lines from the opening scene. Dr. Brooke Allaire is on a plane to New York City and recalls a conversation she had with her friend and business partner, Pamela. Pam gave Brooke an all expense paid weekend to SRE as an early Christmas present and Brooke wants Pam to come along for a ‘girls’ weekend’…
Here's a sneak peek at one of the men Brooke will meet at SRE.
“SRE is something you need to experience on your own. Trust me, it’s a life altering experience,” Pam explained.
Life altering. What a strange description to use for a spa weekend, especially coming from a doctor who dealt with life or death situations on a daily basis. Brooke shrugged her shoulders, swallowed the last sip of her drink and pulled the SRE card from her bag. Maybe they offered yoga or some new fad in self-help with their massages and facials.
Naughty-girl Pam wasn’t exactly forthcoming about the true nature of The Satin Rose Experience!
